Question

How do I switch from one braille grade to another instantly?

Answer

In a document, press BACKSPACE with G (CTRL+G on QT) to select "Grade of Braille" prompt. Then press a for Grade 1 (Uncontracted Braille), b for Grade 2 (Contracted Braille) or c for Computer Braille. Or, within the document, press BACKSPACE with 'a' for Grade 1, BACKSPACE with 'b' for Grade 2 or BACKSPACE with 'j' for Computer Braille.

Note: Be sure to change your grade back to the default grade, otherwise you'll find that what you wrote is not what the Braillenote "says."
